How can you take action to help improve the Canadian Environmental Protection Act?

1. Please take a few minutes to fill in our Questionnaire . We will summarize the answers from questionnaires to provide advice and input to the review committee.
2. Please consider providing comments to the Parliamentary Review Committee. Submissions to the Review Process can be brief or extensive. There are many ways to do this:

Easiest- You can send to us a list of your general areas of interest with respect to environmental health. We will be happy to keep you informed of submissions from other like-minded organizations. If you wish you could add your name to support the submission of another organization with similar goals.

For those with some knowledge of CEPA- We have a template for a standard submission and a guidance table with a menu of recommendations that you may wish to choose from. From these you can develop a submission for the Review Committee. We can help you with this process- please contact us.

For those with extensive knowledge of CEPA- You may wish to create your own submission. Please feel free to us our guidance table and examples of other submissions, available on request from us. Please keep us informed if you make a submission: that will help us track the level of input from health organizations.
