Why Scrap?

Vehicle emissions can negatively effect people’s health and contribute to climate change, urban smog, and acid rain. While older vehicles make up 10% - 15% of the cars on the road, they generate up to 50% of vehicle emissions! Participating in the program is a safe and easy way to dispose of your old car and you will be helping to clean the air and protect the environment!

What happens to my vehicle?

Your approved vehicle will be scrapped according to environmental guidelines that will see fluids, tires and batteries are recycled before the vehicle is shredded and melted down for scrap metal.
