Asthma Training & Educator Course (AsthmaTrec)
Developed by the Lung Associations of Manitoba and Saskatchewan , AsthmaTrec is a professional development program which will give health care professionals the skills needed to educate patients more effectively in the self-management of asthma. Participants learn about health education principles and the latest information about asthma care based on national guidelines (insert hyperlink www.asthmaguidelines.com) produced by the Canadian Thoracic Society. AsthmaTrec is an accredited prerequisite course that prepares the professional to write the national exam to become a Certified Asthma Educator.
